I just finished the first book I’ve read over this break, and all in all it was a pretty interesting read.
In his book “Never Eat Alone”, Keith Ferrazzi discusses his view of a people-centric business world. He elaborates quite a bit on the fundamentals of “networking” and goes into detail about how to connect and maintain connections with other people, be they family, friends, co-workers, what have you.
The author definitely has a good idea of what it takes to build and foster relationships, though perhaps he takes it to an extreme (whether or not this is possible I’ll let you be the judge).
All in all, not a bad read. Would recommend to anyone interested in a pretty thorough view of how networking works in today’s business world.
